CS3 Employee Spotlight

What I Do for You

As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a small consulting firm, I have the pleasure and burden of a huge variety of tasks.  So, of course, I was asked to submit the first article in this new monthly series.  Here goes!

My team includes Juston Michealson, who leads our Acumatica and Sage 100sales initiatives. We recently added an intern from ORU’s Business School, Tyler Thomas, who is helping with various marketing initiatives.

I have front line responsibility for our Scissortail HCM and Sage HRMS sales.  I also manage all our marketing activities:  website, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, monthly newsletter, monthly SmartTalks® user group meeting, and all routine communications with clients.

I am one of six employees that work out of the corporate headquarters.  The remainder of our team work remotely across  five different states, including Juston.  Our virtual connections (Skype, GoTo, Teams, etc.) keep us in sync.

The CS3 Service Pillar I Find Most Natural

The entire team at CS3 look to our 18 Pillars of Service to define a stellar customer experience.

I believe that value means getting the best solution at the best price.  I always want to help my clients pick the right product and make sure it is truly a good investment.

“Focus on Delivering Value”

What’s Been Happening at the Office

The past 12 months have been awesome!  CS3 has seen huge growth.  We added two large clients to our Scissortail HCM product; one with 5,500 employee and another with 750.

After a very long run in the marketplace (at least 25 years) Sage Abra finally announced the end of life for their HCM product.  That announcement kept us very busy. More than half of our Sage Abra clients have moved to Scissortail HCM ,Sage HRMS or other products with our guidance.

We also added 3 new Acumatica clients…yea Juston!

Our monthly virtual user group meetings, SmartTalks®, had over 200 attendees.  I think my favorite meeting was the "Dueling Dashboards" where Acumatica and Sage 100 tools where compared.

What’s Coming Up This Year

CS3 will be attending three of the annual SHRM conferences this year as a sponsor on the vendor trade floor:  Oklahoma (April), Arkansas (April) and Texas HR Southwest (October).  Please come by the booth and visit me if you plan to attend one of these.

CS3 will also be at the Tulsa IMA conference as a sponsor in August.

I look forward to seeing you at all these educational events.

Exciting Things Outside the Office

Come summertime I am headed to our lake house.  It is a small family property in Arkansas where I try to go every weekend possible. It is about a two-hour drive.  On the 4th of July we have a HUGE party where family and friends gather for 4 to 6 days of revelry.  We have as many as 50 people that will show up over the holiday.  We will have at least 25 guests that stay on the property in the bunkhouse or tents.

My first grandchild, Lillian Reece, is now 18-months old. I have been completely sucked into the vortex of “The Proud Grandma” syndrome.  However, I do not yet own a shirt that says “Ask Me About My Granddaughter.”  And, it took everything within me to make this the last bit of news rather than the first!
