At this month’s meeting of the Tulsa Chapter of the IMA Institute of Managerial Accountants the guest speaker was Olen L. Greer, Ph.D.,CMA. Dr. Greer is a Professor of Accountancy in the School of Accountancy at Missouri State University located in Springfield, Missouri. He has been with Missouri State University for thirty-seven (37) years and specializes in Managerial and Cost Accounting.
The topic for Dr. Greer’s presentation was “Inclusion: A Key to Healthy Group Development”. He shared time-proven techniques for enhancing one’s leadership. Participants were given information on how to determine their leadership style and a description for increasing their effectiveness as a leader.
