I am now a happy stay at home business consultant that really enjoys the looks of envy other Houstonians give me when I say I don’t commute anymore.
I graduated from Stephen F. Austin University and worked in accounting for four years and then answered an ad for a person with an accounting background for a company called EBS. We sold IBM Risc 6000 machines, and our software was Unix AIX friendly and used to run equipment dealerships like Caterpillar and Ford New Holland and usable in the forklift industry for companies like Toyota lift. I went back to accounting because of the excessive travel and then the world changed.
What would I rather do than work?
I played football in high school and still enjoy working out and spending time with family and friends and watching the Astros and other sports.
Mountain or beach?
I like the beach because the wind and the water are very relaxing and usually has the same effect on the people around it.
Who is your favorite cartoon character?
Fred Flintstone. It was my favorite show when I was young.
