It’s April and if you are in the payroll department, you have probably received more than one phone call or email about an employee’s W-2. You mail the employee’s W-2 by January 31, but by April when employees are filing taxes, you are inundated with requests for additional copies. Employees forget to update their address, they misplace the W-2 (although they always blame the spouse or children, right?), or are positive you never sent it out (like we make mistakes ha!).

Besides W-2’s, the employee has access to pay statements at any time as well. Follow the same steps listed above but choose My Pay Statements after Clicking My Account (#2 above). Besides convenience it’s also a secure way for employees to retrieve their information without relying on the post office or having to wait for the information.
