Acumatica Summit was in beautiful Houston, Texas this year and had record attendance with over 1,500 customers, partners, and industry analysts. Though I didn’t get to attend, I have been reading the reports and learning about the experience from CS3’s very own Chief Chaos Wrangler, Shawn Slavin.
Here are some highlights…
Ongoing Growth and Improvements: Acumatica is bringing multi-factor authentication, more native reporting options, and improvements to the UI in the form of color-theming by branch and company to the latest version. These are just a few of the improvements coming to Acumatica based on requests from clients. What’s great about Acumatica (and why it’s great to see record attendance) is that they have more than 80% of their staff dedicated to ongoing platform development. This is great news for clients as you have an extremely focused R&D operation constantly finding improvements based on real-world customer business needs to what is often the largest software investment for a business.
Acumatica Awards, Gartner Position: 2018 was another great year for Acumatica in the awards category. Acumatica won the PC Mag Editor’s Choice for Best ERP Solution for the third year in a row, establishing a tradition of excellence. This is in addition to the SIIA CODiE Awards for Best Cloud ERP and Best Manufacturing Solution. All these awards didn’t come at the cost of customer satisfaction, either. Gartner awarded Acumatica with highest customer satisfaction of all vendors surveyed in the latest Gartner Cloud Financials Magic Quadrant.
Tableau Integration: This is something we have been eager to share for some time now and it’s great they’ve made the official announcement. This integration pairs Tableau’s industry-leading business analytics with Acumatica’s already powerful reporting and dashboards. This is great news for our clients as data-driven decision making is one of the most common requests from a modern ERP system.
These are just a few of the highlights that continue to make us feel great about our investment in Acumatica as a partner and feel enthusiastic for our customers as we continue to bring the best solutions to their business problems.
