We are under 1 month away from the ride on 6/1/2019 from Hillcrest Hospital South (same as last year)! They are offering a 70 Mile, 45 Mile, 24 Mile, 10 Mile, or 5K Fun Run/Walk. Registration is currently $20, but will increase as we get closer to the ride. If you are interested in participating in the ride or walk/run, please sign up. CS3 will pay the signup fee for any rider on our team. If you want to walk or run, registration is free and there is no fundraising minimum.

Each rider is task with raising $200 (I verified this number) prior to the event, at a minimum CS3 will represent at least $600 in fundraising.  You can keep track of our team standings, who is signed up, how much raised, register to join the team, etc. at this website.

In addition to the signup fee, each CS3 Team rider (employee or not) will receive a $30 donation to help them get started (there 30.3 million Americans with diabetes).  CS3 is going to do two different contributions from the company: 1) if the CS3 team raises $4,000 the team will receive a contribution of $500 and 2) the CS3 team member who is the highest fundraiser (over $500) will get a contribution of $500.

We are looking for 100% participation in the Tour de Cure to get a party at next February’s company retreat. Don’t feel left out if you are not riding! There are other ways in which you may participate. You can ride, walk, run, volunteer, or donate.  The American Diabetes Association can ALWAYS use assistance on the day of the ride so volunteers are needed. In addition, contributions are also welcome.  And, if you are not in Tulsa, you have a couple of options. The Tour de Cure now offers a virtual participation, but one note of caution you still have to raise $200. Another option is to register for a local event in or near your home town.

To show our corporate appreciation, we will be providing 2019 Team CS3 Tour de Cure T-shirts to all employees regardless of if they ride, walk/run, volunteer or are a contributor (minimum $50) to commemorate this year’s efforts. If we have participation from 100% of the CS3 employees and contractors, we will have a celebration at our annual retreat next February. Regardless of whether you ride, walk/run, volunteer or contribute, we want everyone to be active in this effort and enjoy the fun of celebrating our accomplishment!

We want to get the word out on this event! So share, share, share!

GO TEAM CS3!!!
